Support correspondence
To respond when you email [email protected].We do not currently request your precise GPS location. Location-related searches use the city, state, or ZIP code you enter. We do not ask you to provide payment-card information directly to us.How Couple Mode and Group Mode WorkWhen you create a Couple Mode or Group Mode session, the app creates a private session code. Participants who receive that code may join from their own devices and vote on restaurant options. To operate the feature, the service stores the session code, participant display names, a protected device/session credential, selected restaurant options, votes, participant completion status, and the final shared decision.Votes are used only to calculate the session outcome. Other participants see the shared result and progress status, not a private explanation of how any individual voted beyond what is necessary for the selected consensus feature.Please share session codes only with people you want to invite. A person who receives a valid code may be able to join that session until the session is closed or expires.Local Storage on Your DeviceSome information is stored locally on your device to make the app work smoothly. This may include favorites, recent searches, the locally selected final restaurant for a shared session, and secure session credentials. On supported mobile devices, sensitive session credentials are stored using the device’s secure storage when available.You can remove locally stored app information by using available in-app controls when provided or by deleting the app from your device. Removing the app does not automatically remove information already used to operate a shared session on our server; contact us if you need help with a privacy request.Third-Party Services and LinksNight on the Town uses third-party services to provide the live information you request. When you search, the relevant search terms and location information may be sent to these providers solely to return results.Service

Their privacy practices, not this Privacy Policy, apply after you leave Night on the Town.How We Use InformationWe use information to provide and improve the app, including to:•

operate private multi-device voting sessions and calculate shared decisions;•
provide favorites, recent searches, restaurant details, directions, and calling actions;•
protect the integrity and security of sessions, including preventing duplicate device participation;•

diagnose reliability issues and maintain the service.We do not sell personal information or use your search and voting data to build advertising profiles.How We Share InformationWe share information only as needed to provide the features you choose. This includes sharing your search information with the restaurant and event data providers described above, and sharing the minimum session information necessary with the participants in your Couple Mode or Group Mode session.We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with applicable law, or respond to valid legal process.Data RetentionWe retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the app, maintain active shared sessions, resolve issues, and comply with applicable obligations. Local favorites, recent searches, and secure session credentials remain on your device until removed through the app or by deleting the app. We will update this policy if we add account-based storage or adopt specific automatic deletion schedules.SecurityWe use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. For example, the app uses secure device storage for participant credentials where supported, stores access tokens in protected form on the server, and keeps third-party API keys on the server rather than in the public mobile app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.Children’s PrivacyNight on the Town is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at [email protected] so we can review the request.Your Choices and Privacy RequestsYou may contact us at [email protected] to ask questions about this policy or request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you.
